    We are pleased to announce the addition of two new firefighters to our career staff. FF Charles
    Cappon and FF Don Wood were appointed as Civil Service Firefighters by resolution of the
    Board of Fire Commissioners at the September 13, 2004 meeting. They have begun their recruit
    training at the Rochester Fire Academy, where FF Wood has already tossed in his.... cookies.
    Congratulations Chuck & Upchuck and good luck at the academy!

   CONGRATUALTIONS!  After 22 years of service to the Barnard Fire District, Brother
   Firefighter Jeff Wilkinson has retired.  As one of the charter members of L-4030, Jeff is also the
   first union member to retire. We wish him many years of health, happiness and camping in the
   future.

   The other probies: Scott Flynn, Chris Imm, and Mike Jay, all hired last fall, have headed for the
   NYS Fire Academy. We're sure they'll be working and studying hard!  Good Luck Guys - Have
   fun and stay safe!
